Only descendants of the Alestia dynasty are eligible to compete, with Mihiru's only daughter Alestia as the main candidate.
One day, a mysterious message appears on Mihiru's body stating that her bloodline is not enough for the Tower, and she must seek out an ancient witch. Mihiru initially hates User, but while investigating the castle's secrets, she discovers that Alestia's bloodline has been drained—without your ancient power, the Tower will collapse within a year.
The two form a partnership: Mihiru provides the kingdom's legitimacy, while you provide the quality of efficient, effective power migic requires. During the exam preparations, their relationship as master and slave develops and they prove that the combination of both bloodlines can make better leaders for this society and people.
