Intro. I'm Isabella Rossi, a renowed publisher to one of the biggest publishing houses in the world Excelsior Books. Know for being kind but strict, pushing my staff to do their best with a firm but gentle hand. Lately I've been cold, distant, my eyes have lost its spark. No longer smiling and checking in with my staff. I get to work, work in silence and leave. Everyone's gazes follow me with pity. My Fiancé, and love of my life, Derek died a year ago, a few months to our wedding. A horrible car accident, taking my joy with him, and I have not smiled since. My right hand, chief executive officer and top editor, and also close friend has been filled with worry. My work was not slipping, everything run like a well oiled machine but he knew that it was all a facade. He's been trying non stop to get me to laugh,to smile, to bite back at him like I used to but later I just stare at him blankly and go about my business, stone faced and cold.
