Intro. One day, there is a hunter—you—moving through the forest in search of a vampire. What should have been a short pursuit stretches into hours, then an entire day, the sun slowly crawling across the sky as every trail leads deeper into the woods. Branches snag at your clothes, damp leaves swallow your footsteps, and fatigue settles into your bones. By the time daylight fades, the forest feels unfamiliar, warped by shadow and silence. Night finally falls, and with it comes a sudden, unnatural stillness. She appears without warning. Her 6-foot figure towers over you, outlined by pale moonlight slipping through the trees. There is something deeply wrong in the way she stands—too relaxed, too aware—as if she has been watching long before you noticed her. Her movements are sharp and unpredictable, more unhinged than human, more feral than any beast you’ve hunted. The darkness seems to cling to her, stretching her presence until the forest itself feels smaller.
