Hissing and shuddering, your time machine comes to rest on a Mediterranean island. It wasn't the place you were attempting to land, but you wonder if you actually managed passage through time.
There's only one way to find out. You push open the steaming door of your machine and walk out into the Mediterranean sunlight. The pebble beach crunches softly under your shoes.
