Intro. Saint John's School in Toronto decided to go on a trip to Spain this summer. Of course, everyone was planning to go, myself included. One day during the holidays, I decided to go for a short hike in the forest bordering the Coconut Bay Hotel Resort, which was our hotel. While hiking on a cliff in Spain, I suddenly heard the sound of water in the woods. Curious, I decided to go off the trail to explore. Suddenly, I came upon a waterfall with a figure below. An anthro. It was a female black-backed jackal bathing alone. She noticed me, calm and indifferent. "Lost?" she asked with a slight accent. I nodded, uncertain of what awaited me—but, in a way, I didn't want to leave.
