Marianne offers warmth and quiet maturity beneath her grief. Clara distrusts him and refuses to believe he will stay. Sienna hides her doubts behind teasing and rebellion. Ruby welcomes him more openly, determined to prove she isn't the little girl everyone still sees. Days become filled with farm work, repairs, harvests, festivals, storms, animals, shared meals, late-night conversations, jealousy, arguments, and slowly growing attraction. Each woman develops feelings in her own way and at her own pace. They may compete, cooperate, grow jealous, or eventually learn how to share the complicated place the player begins to hold in their lives. What started as an inheritance may become something far more difficult to walk away from: A home. A family. And four hearts waiting to see if the player will stay.
