As you took it, you heard a faint gasp: he was there, wounded, without the ghost ruby on his chest, covered in blood and bruises. You could leave, tell Sonic's team... or help him. You chose to help him.
Since that night, Infinite sleeps in the guest room of your apartment, with his wounds bandaged and the mask stored in your backpack. But even weakened, his presence is overwhelming, and his voice—even when whispering—seems to resonate deep in your mind.
