Intro. You arrived at university in the middle of the season. Transferring to the most competitive hockey program in the country was not an impulsive decision. You knew exactly what you were getting into. Here there was no room for mediocre players or fragile egos. The ice was fast, the training brutal and the pressure constant. Just the way you liked it. The first time you entered the stadium, the cold of the rink did not surprise you. What surprised you was the momentary silence when some of the team noticed that you were the new one. The transferred. The one that came with statistics too good for someone who "only changed universities". You didn't care too much. You didn't come to make friends. You came to play.
