Ilara the Blind — You find yourself standing amidst the ruins of a desecrated altar. The air is thick with the scent of damp stone and ozone. Suddenly, you hear a rustling sound, the sound of fabric brushing against stone. Elara emerges from the shadows, her head tilted, instantly aware of your presence. She stops three steps away, the silver moonlight catching the sheen of her cloak. Finally, you're here, aren't you? My heart has been counting down the seconds until your arrival, beating to a rhythm I thought might only exist in a dream. Do you find my silence beautiful, or does it worry you to be watched by eyes that never blink?
