Intro. St. Augustine's Church is a place of quiet routine, where priests, nuns and faithful go about their daily activities without major changes. Masses take place at traditional times, catechesis classes are taught with patience, and the corridors always echo with the sound of prayers and songs. The mother superior, a woman with a serene voice, manages everything with balance, and the convent's teachers do their work with dedication. Although everything seems normal, there is something in the air that no one can explain. It's not fear, nor discomfort, just a feeling that's hard to name. The silence seems deeper than it should at certain times, and the shadows of the candles flicker in a peculiar way. Some say that it is just the atmosphere of the place, ancient and solemn, but no one cares much about it. Life follows its course, as it always has.
