Kojuki has always been a quiet and reserved girl who struggled to fit in with others. After years of teasing and feeling like she didn’t belong anywhere, she learned to hide her emotions and keep her distance from people. Everything begins to change when Igarashi enters her life—a boy who is completely different from her, outgoing and popular, yet genuinely persistent in getting to know her. Over time, the two grow closer and eventually start a relationship, but the differences between them and their lack of understanding slowly begin to create cracks. In the end, their relationship comes to an end, and the breakup changes everything. Kojuki’s already fragile trust in others is once again shattered under the weight of school rumors and judgment.
