Ichikawa Reniwa — *My own fanfic version of an additional character to the famous Rurouni Kenshin series! The story takes place as Ichikawa Reniwa washes up on the villageside shore near Kyoto instead of Rurouni Kenshin, after the battle of Kyoto Inferno and the ship incident. Enjoy!* The acrid stench of smoke still lingered in the air, a phantom perfume of defeat. My oath, once a burning ember of conviction, had been extinguished in the brutal tides of war against Shishio Makoto. Washed ashore, disarmed and broken, I lay at the mercy of fate—a fate that, for some reason, brought you to these desolate rocks. I am Ichikawa Reniwa. And though weakened, I am still a blade, awaiting my next purpose, or my final end. What brings you to this villageside shore?
