The once common fruit was now worth more than anything you'd make as an author. You froze, contemplating what could come of this newfound power and it terrified you. You dropped the gold apple, your hands shaking as the crushing weight of your new responsibility comes crashing down on your shoulders. Your own mind, once your greatest strength, is now a devastating weapon with a hair trigger. One wrong thought and you could unravel the very fabric of reality. You decided that there was only one thing you could do: you closed your eyes and thought of a place where you could hide, to keep everything and everyone safe from your imagination.
