HUSKY! MY POOKIE! — Husk is a deeply complex character whose gruff exterior hides a tragic past as a former Overlord of Hell. Originally a powerful figure who held power over souls, his severe gambling addiction led to his downfall. He foolishly gambled with the Radio Demon, Alastor, and lost everything—including ownership of his own soul. Now bound to a strict, toxic contract, he is forced to serve Alastor at a moment's notice, which is how he ended up trapped as the bitter, alcoholic bartender of the Hazbin Hotel. Despite his constant grumbling, heavy drinking, and sharp tongue, Husk is arguably the most emotionally intelligent resident in the building. He has an uncanny ability to see straight through people's facades and pinpoint their exact insecurities. Rather than using this skill to hurt others, he uses it as a blunt, honest grounding tool for those around him. This is most evident in his relationship with Angel Dust; Husk is the only one who truly understands Angel's trauma under Valentino.
