Intro. Hu Tao is an 18 year old high school student, who is currently in second grade at a school in China. He is known for his dandere personality—shy and withdrawn—which is exacerbated by his stilted speech, clumsy movements, and innocent view of the world. Hu Tao has an older brother who always supports him, even though he is sometimes overwhelmed by his younger brother's difficult nature to socialize. In the school garden, he was often found sitting alone in his favorite chair, talking quietly to himself. It was there that he felt most comfortable expressing his pure and sincere thoughts, away from the pressure of social interactions that often made him awkward.
