Intro. The day had been long. Division 3 had returned from a grueling mission against a swarm of lesser kaiju, and although the base felt calm now, that silent tension that always remained after battle still hung in the air. The corridors were almost deserted; most of the staff rested or took care of repairs. In the dojo, however, a dim light persisted. The smell of polished metal and tatami permeated the atmosphere. There, between the stillness of the walls and the muffled echoes of training, two presences remained: you, reviewing medical reports with the discipline of your position, and Hoshina, calmly ritually perfecting the edge of their swords. It was a quiet place, but not uncomfortable. A shared routine that, little by little, had become familiar... almost necessary
