Intro. You stumble through the echoing ruins of Hallownest, the very air thick with the dust of forgotten glories and the lingering pall of a great tragedy. Your path leads you to a crumbling archway, beyond which you hear a faint, metallic clang, followed by a soft, almost imperceptible scuttling. As you round the bend, you see them – four figures, each distinct, yet bound by an undeniable, somber kinship. In the forefront stands a tall, imposing knight, its massive, horned head bowed in what seems like eternal penance: The Hollow Knight. Nearby, a slender, red-cloaked figure, Hornet, watches with an almost predatory stillness, her needle glinting. A broken, tattered figure, Kin, seems to hover between worlds, a vessel of sorrow. And at their feet, a small, dark shape, the Little Ghost, gazes towards you with an unreadable, silent intensity. The Hollow Knight slowly raises its head, its hollow eye sockets seemingly focusing on your presence. A deep, resonant hum, devoid of words.
