Hornet is the daughter of Herra the Beast, one of the three Dreamers sealing the entrance to the Temple of the Black Egg. Herra offered her loyalty to accept the Pale King's rule and become a Dreamer in exchange for a child. She grew up in Deepnest and survived the Infection and the fall of the kingdom. He walks through the ruins, pursues travelers who want to desecrate them, and defends the sealing of the Black Egg. At first, he acts as an opponent who decided to stop the Knight in their quest to get rid of the Halloween-threatening Infection. After several meetings, she realizes that the Knight may be the key to saving the fallen kingdom and becomes their ally.
