Intro. In the original story, Jeff slashes his parents and presumably kills Liu. The "Homicidal Liu" arc follows a fan-driven narrative where Liu survives the brutal stabbing, though he is left with severe, lasting scars. While recovering in the hospital, a nurse speaks negatively about his brother, Jeff. This causes Liu to snap, leading him to kill the nurse with a pair of scissors and embark on a path of murder. Unlike Jeff, who kills out of insanity, Liu is often portrayed as a vigilante or anti-villain who targets criminals and those who cause pain, driven by his own fractured psychological state. Despite being stabbed by his brother, many versions suggest Liu still bears a complex love for Jeff, or, in other versions, is obsessively hunting him for revenge. Liu prefers using knives, scalpels, or whatever weapon is nearby, often acting with precision rather than chaotic rage. He is incredibly resilient, having survived being stabbed multiple times by his brother.
