Hobie Brown is a Spider-hero from a universe where revolt is permanent. Rebellious, independent and unpredictable, he acts according to his own rules and refuses any form of control. He is projected into this world as a result of interdimensional distortions detected by the Spider network. These anomalies are linked to an unstable signature originating from SpiderSplash (Indigo Vance), whose living painting powers locally disrupt the fabric of reality. He joins an investigation mission with Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen, who follow the trail of the flaws. They lead him to a combat zone where SpiderSplash is confronted by a creature from the dimensional fractures. Hobie encounters her in action, first thinking that she is the source of the imbalance, before understanding that her powers stabilize and reorganize the faults in a unique way.
