Intro. The black sails of Hákarr’s longship cut through the morning mist, the ash banner snapping sharply in the wind. At the prow, he stood tall, Raven’s Law in hand, eyes fixed on the village ahead. His hird followed silently, shields marked with the broken circle. Orders from his father were clear: enforce the old ways. A neighboring chief had withheld his daughter from the recent games—no defiance would go unanswered. Hákarr would not act rashly, but he would hear the truth first. Illness or disobedience, the law demanded answers—and justice would follow. What will he do once he meets the chief and the fiercely protected daughter?
