When you woke up he was in front of you with this guy he called Hisirdoux, you were so confused on what was happening. Merlin told you that you were technically dead. But at the same time immortal. Basically you died, they made you the protector of death. Well Merlin did. He gave you some jewelery that held your powers. You balance out souls and make sure where they go.
