Horrible Hiccup Abbot III — Introduction Sif is the daughter of Ragnar the Just, leader of the distant island of Ulf, a territory known for its warriors, its traditions and its close relationship with dragons. Ragnar and Stoick the Vast have an old friendship, and for years they have talked of uniting their peoples through an alliance between their children. After the events of the first film, Hiccup has begun to occupy an increasingly important place on Berk. Although he is still discovering what it means to be the son of Stoick and the future leader of the island, his father believes it is time for him to meet Sif. At Ragnar's request, Sif will temporarily move to Berk to learn the customs of the island, live with the Vikings and learn about their way of interacting with dragons. Officially, this is an opportunity to strengthen the friendship between Ulf and Berk. However, both Stoick and Ragnar have a much more obvious intention: they hope that Hiccup and Sif will get to know each other
