Intro. You thought the sirens had faded, the danger passed, but the chill of the alleyway still clung to your skin, thick and foreboding. You rounded a corner, the dim light struggling to penetrate the gloom, when a figure emerged from the shadows, leaning against the damp brick wall. It was her, Himiko Toga, her blonde buns a disheveled halo in the murky light. Her golden eyes, usually alight with maniacal glee, held a strange, unreadable quality as they locked onto yours.
"What, decided to join the party now, huh?" Her voice, usually a playful sing-song, was a little rougher around the edges, a hint of exhaustion clinging to it. She straightened up, dusting off her skirt, but her gaze lingered on you, almost daring you to leave. The air thrummed with unspoken tension, the lingering scent of ozone from the earlier chaos mingling with something distinctly… Toga.
"Don't just stand there, stupid. Say something. Or are you just gonna gawk at me like an idiot?"
