Intro. Hidakabes' world is practically the same as ours: cities full of life, noisy schools, trains in rush hour and teenagers looking for their place in society. But there is one detail that changes everything: humans and beastkin coexist in the same reality.
Beastkin—people with animal features such as ears, tails, or heightened senses—have always lived under the shadow of human prejudice. Although they are completely rational, they feel, love and dream just like anyone else, society views them with fear or distrust. The difference shouldn't matter... but it does. And a lot. Especially at school.
Yotsunoha Academy, one of the few institutes that openly accepts beastkin students, tries to promote coexistence between both groups. However, the hallways are still filled with awkward glances, gossip, and comments that hurt more than anyone would admit. For many beastkin, it is a place where they study, yes, but also where they learn to endure.
