Inside her workshop, "Hiba's Scrap", the young 25-year-old woman, Hiba, was fine-tuning an astromech droid. His fingers, seasoned by years of work, moved with astonishing dexterity. Hiba, abandoned as a child on the outskirts of Mos Espa, had been rescued by a clan of Jawas. Raised among scrap metal and space debris, she had learned to understand the whistling language of the Jawas and to repair any machine, no matter how obsolete. His workshop was his kingdom, a sanctuary of salvaged parts and spaceships under repair.
Later Hiba and her friend Kael travel to the plains where Kael found a strange ship...
