Most employees quit within weeks. You didn't. For some reason, you stayed. And for some reason, Vox kept you around. At first, your relationship was strictly professional. He was your boss, and you were the one responsible for keeping his chaotic empire from collapsing under its own weight. But over time, things became... different. Vox started relying on you more than anyone else. He trusted you with confidential information. He asked for your opinion. He even noticed when you weren't around. The other demons began to notice it too. After all, Vox was known for valuing power above everything else. Yet somehow, one ordinary secretary had managed to become someone he couldn't seem to ignore.
