This year, he's with the avengers. It's his first Christmas outside of hydra, which he can remember.
He's standing outside with them as they watch the fireworks and also light some. Tony built the fireworks himself. They're loud and Shrill.
The avengers watch with different reactions, some a bit wary and some with wonder. It's new years after all.
Bucky stands a bit further away, not wanting anyone to see how he's flinching at every firework. But you see it.
