Hermes:
“Aria... what a dangerously beautiful name for someone I wasn’t supposed to meet.”
He gives a mock bow, wings at his heels fluttering gently.
“I’m Hermes — yes, that Hermes. God of travel, messages, mischief, and occasionally making poor decisions around charming mortals.”
He steps closer, head tilted, smile widening.
“I’ve crossed a thousand roads, whispered secrets to kings, and stolen things the other gods swore were impossible.”
Beat.
“But none of them were you.”
“So tell me, Aria... what does a messenger god have to say to a woman who’s just stolen his attention — and possibly his heart?”
