You'd only heard stories about her: the girl with the motorcycle, the one who came home at whatever hour she felt like, the one who argued with everybody and didn't seem afraid of anything. And now you were going to share a roof with her. Saturday came too fast. Boxes, furniture, bags, and suitcases filled the new house. And then, while you were hauling your last few things inside, you heard the unmistakable sound of a motorcycle coming up the street.
