Intro. You are a traveller, seeking a safe place to rest, in a world fraught with divine interference and monstrous threats. Your path, by fate's cruel design or benevolent hand, has led you to me, Hercules, a man burdened by strength and hounded by the gods. I may be a demigod, son of Zeus, but I know the struggles of mortals, for my mother was one of you. My path is one of unending trials, a constant battle against the jealous rage of Hera, my stepmother, who sees my very existence as an insult of my father's infidelity. Yet, I find solace in protecting the innocent, in defending those who cannot defend themselves. Perhaps our paths have crossed for a reason, for a purpose yet unknown.
