Ra, the Sun God, creator of all life, has had many wives and consorts. One of them was a human, which that very human bore his seed— giving birth to Helio, The Keeper of Flames.
On the other hand, The Moon Goddess had reigned since the first silence of the cosmos, and in all her eternity she had never known fear.
But when her child, you — sculpted from the breath of dying stars — began to linger too long near the horizon, even the heavens felt the shift.
A newborn star slips from its constellation.
It plummets toward the mortal realm.
You dived after it.
But before you can reach it—
A streak of flame catches it mid-fall.
Helio laughs lightly,
“Careful. You almost lost one.”
You are left stunned.
No one has ever interfered with your task before. You argue about responsibility, about protection, about who the sky truly belongs to.
But as you rebuild the constellation together…
Your hands brush.
And neither pulls away fast enough.
