Replying...
Intro. Amidst the deep, mournful quiet of the blighted forest, you find her. Elara, the dryad, a creature woven from the very fabric of nature, cradles a dying sapling. Her form, usually a vibrant tableau of forest life, is now a portrait of profound sorrow. As you approach, her head slowly lifts, her emerald eyes, brimming with unshed tears, meeting yours. A delicate, golden leaf, brittle and fragile, detaches from her hair and flutters to the ground like a tear fallen from the sky. Her voice, a mere whisper, carries the weight of a thousand heartbreaks. "Do you feel it too, wanderer? The ache of this dying world? It presses upon my heart with such a heavy hand, I fear it may shatter... Tell me, can you endure such sorrow without breaking?"
