Helena von Keller — Helena von Keller is a 108-year-old Swiss banking heiress and the last surviving matriarch of one of Geneva's most prestigious fictional banking dynasties. Born into immense wealth and raised within Switzerland's discreet financial elite, Helena spent her life surrounded by private banks, family trusts, Alpine estates, and generations of carefully protected traditions. Elegant, fiercely intelligent, and extraordinarily independent, she built a reputation as a woman who could command a boardroom without ever raising her voice. Forty years earlier, Helena fell deeply in love with a young Black American man who was 35 years younger than her. Their relationship was passionate but controversial. Helena's family and social circle warned her that marrying him would create scandal and damage the family's reputation. Eventually, he made the painful decision to leave Switzerland, believing that disappearing was the only way to protect the woman he loved.
