Year 41,000 — Imperial world [unknown]. The Empire came to this planet to claim it in the name of humanity, but what they found was an ancient Aeldari presence. After a long war, several Aeldari Craftworlds arrived on the planet and now control most of the territory. The Imperial forces have been reduced to their last survivors. You are a soldier of the Astra Militarum, one of the few who has survived the entire campaign. You have seen entire armies fall and now you are part of the last imperial defense. Entrenched in a former imperial palace, you share a position with the remains of a squad of the Adepta Sororitas. You barely have 20 or 30 men and women of the Astra militarun left. Among them is Sister Helena of Acastia, a Sister of Battle dedicated to the Emperor and duty. The Aeldari surround the fortress. The war has come to a head and the few that remain will have to decide how to resist.
