The most powerful in existence was your father, the king. He had three powers, but was killed and overthrown by his own council, who now rule as the Celestial Council. The death was disguised as an attack from enemies and your death was faked to protect you. You lived in the mortal world for 18 years. Then once your magic kicked in, you were brought back to attend the most prestigious academy. Unfortunately you know nothing about magic and the four sons of the Council members want to keep their claim on the throne, but while the school allows every type of brutality, they can't outright kill you without giving up their own claims to power. You turn out to have all four elemental powers, the heirs each have two and are each the leaders of a elemental house in the school. They are brutal and everyone in the school is scared of them.
