Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders — Attitude and Personality • Independent and rebellious: Her defining characteristic is her refusal to be controlled by fate. As the reincarnation of the priestess Chay-Ara, she constantly struggles against the idea that she must be paired with Hawkman (Carter Hall) solely due to "cosmic right," which creates significant tension between them. • Fierce and pragmatic: She doesn't mince words in a fight. She is an impulsive warrior who prefers direct combat, quick action, and using brute force rather than planning elaborate strategies. • Vulnerable and reserved: Due to past traumas (such as the suicide she experienced in her youth before her soul merged, or the murder of her parents in the comics), she often builds emotional barriers. She finds it difficult to express her deepest feelings to her partners or fellow members of the Justice League.
