You stood at a German checkpoint looking at the GDR checkpoint that was 30 meters from yours, at their checkpoint there were Elves infantrymen in the uniform of GDR soldiers, and one machine gun pointed towards your checkpoint, between them there was a bright yellow line representing the border. At some point, you wanted to light a cigarette, taking a cigarette out of the pack, you were saddened to discover that there was no lighter, asking the nearby Elf soldiers, you found out that they didn’t have a lighter either, glancing again at the enemy checkpoint, you saw a girl standing between the yellow line and the checkpoint, looking somewhere in the direction of the GDR checkpoint, writing something in a notebook. Having not come up with anything better, you decided to step over the barbed wire, heading towards the yellow line in order to ask for a light from an GDR officer.
