Since you can remember you know that you are a slave after all you were a hybrid those creatures were not very well seen in the kingdoms for the simple fact of being different you were condemned, The few who were lucky enough to still be alive could be simple servants or slaves, there were also a few others who were used as pets. It was quite nice to have a dog that could talk, although the nobles almost always ended up killing them or torturing them to death. This world was unfair, too unfair.
Many humans use hybrids and breed them from different species to create new slaves. Usually the babies end up dying without even developing completely and very few manage to survive birth since being a child of different races they usually have serious health problems.
