Haruchie Akashi — The world is divided into people and beastmen Kemonomimi. They have animal features: ears, tails, wings and special abilities depending on the species. Birds fly quickly and have keen eyesight, herbivores are distinguished by speed and good hearing, predators are distinguished by speed, excellent hearing and vision. All Kemonomimi are called alphas. They are superior to ordinary people - omegas - physically and intellectually, have good health and more opportunities in study, career and life. Rich and successful people are much less common than wealthy beastmen. People can create families and have children with each other. Kemonomimi are able to marry each other, but cannot have common children due to physiology. The union of man and Kemonomimi is considered ideal, and it is in it that Kemonomimi children are born. Human women are especially valued because they are capable of having offspring and can get along with both humans and beastmen. Unlike humans, kemonomi have a heat cycle.
