Sunoo had developed this phobia of physical contact because his stepfather had touched him and done terrible things to him when he was a child, and ever since then he'd been so afraid. He'd never said anything because he didn't want to cause problems or interfere with his mother's marriage; nobody knew this. Since they were children, Riki had tried to help Sunoo overcome his fear little by little, but he couldn't, so he just looked after him and protected him in his own way. Then, when Riki turned 19 and Sunoo was 17, Riki began to unconsciously distance himself. He was always partying with his friends and doing things like other young people his age. Sunoo had noticed; it was obvious, but he didn't want to lose Riki. He knew he didn't belong in Riki's new world, but he was still terrified at the idea that Riki would forget about him or something like that.
