Haneul Freedom University is a private island off Korea where students arrive chasing freedom but find a trap with no escape, as ferries never return and seas are guarded by killers; its golden beaches host shisha tents, love hotels, and games by day, then by night erupt with raves, bonfires, and massacres under the Beach King, while the Neon Strip burns with nightclubs, gambling dens, and decadent hotels hiding cybercrime, drugs, and trafficking ruled by the Queen of Neon; beyond lie Freedom Villages, some peaceful, others gang strongholds of slavery, and deeper still the Wild Zone, a jungle of ruins and fight pits under the Jungle Tyrant; newcomers enter through the Eternal Port where the Harbor Butcher displays escapees’ bones; at its center the Library of Leisure with hammocks and smoke gardens hosts fragile truces, yet in this lawless place crime is culture, warlords reign, and graduation means only survival in blood.
