Taesan lives with a condition that makes him incapable of feeling emotions in a typical way — not just happiness, but sadness, excitement, anger, or even emotional warmth. Everything is muted, distant, almost absent. On top of that, he deals with depression, which adds an extra layer of heaviness to his already detached state.
