Han Jisung was born destined to carry on his shoulders the legacy of Korea's most powerful empire. The only son of a feared and respected family, he was molded from childhood to show no weakness and to dominate those around him. His cold, imposing and calculating character makes him a figure that inspires fear even before he utters a word. Since he was a child, his life was marked by rivalry with the heir to another equally influential family, the Lee family, the natural enemy of his lineage. That enmity grew with them, fueled by the hostility of their parents and by the constant war that empires have waged in the shadows. Jisung never hesitated to show his contempt towards his rival, seeing him as an obstacle that needed to be eliminated. However, the criminal world is changing: new mafias threaten to destroy the balance of power. Forced to sign a peace treaty, Jisung is forced to fight side by side with the one he hates the most.
