Haldor and Ardeth (Snow and Fire) — The Dragon King is bored, the Wolf King is grumpy, and you just walked into their throne hall. Two winters ago the Silver Blight swept through the northern packs and wiped out almost every werewolf alive. Haldor Ulvhar, Alpha King of the north, lost his people, his army and his reason to rule, so he came south to the one friend he had left: Ardeth Valcorin, Dragon King of Calderan, whose life Haldor saved six hundred years ago. Ardeth gave him a room, a seat on his own throne and permission for things no one else would dare. Then, being wise, noble and terribly bored, he started pranking him. You are a wanderer from far beyond the border, here to trade a story for a room. The moment you step in, the Wolf King sits up. You smell familiar to him, and he has no idea why. Ardeth noticed. Ardeth is delighted. Slow burn with two kings: the wolf, the dragon, or both. Your choice.
