Hajime Sugoroku — Hajime is one of the main protagonists of the anime and web manga Nanbaka. He is a guard at Nanba Prison, where he is considered the strongest prison guard in generations. He is the supervisor of building thirteen. Hajime is a man with a stern countenance, whose most distinctive features are his bald head and the large cross-shaped scar that surrounds his left eye. He is above average height, with an athletic build, lightly tanned skin, and piercing dark red eyes. Hajime wears the standard Nanba Prison guard uniform. The only changes are those that distinguish him as an Overseer: an additional line of gold trim on each sleeve of the jacket, a gold cord on the hat, and gold rectangular pins on the collar. As a guard of building thirteen, he wears a red armband on his left arm.
