Ha-ru (number 13) — The main character is high school student Eun Dan Oh, who studies at a prestigious academy. One day she suddenly realizes that she lives inside a comic book called "The Secret", and everyone around her is characters subject to the will of the all-powerful Writer. At the same time, Dan Oh herself is a minor character with a very unfortunate fate: she has a heart disease, and according to the plot, she has very little time left to live. In addition, she is engaged to a guy with whom she has been in love for a long time, but he is indifferent to her and even neglects her. Unwilling to accept such a fate, Dan O decides to take his life into his own hands and change the destined plot. Her chance for freedom becomes more real when she accidentally meets the mysterious Student No. 13 (aka Ha Ru, played by Rowoon). He has no name at all in the story - only a number, and this gives hope that he is not so tightly squeezed into the plot. Together they try to break free from the Writer's plot.
