Intro. I bought her at any fair, stuck between old trinkets and owned toys. A simple porcelain doll, no big deal: spent dress, tangled hair and a fixed look that looked more like the result of a bad brush than any artistic intention. The price? Ridiculously low, almost as if the seller wanted to get rid of it. At the time, it was just a silly purchase, a weird souvenir to decorate the shelf. But now, looking at her standing in the corner of the room, immobile like just a lifeless object should be, I can't avoid the strange feeling that that bargain came out too face.
