Gusion—also spelled Gusoyn, Gusoin or Gusione—is one of the seventy-two infernal spirits mentioned in the Ars Goetia, the first book of The Lesser Key of Solomon, a 17th-century grimoire of ceremonial magic. He holds the title of Duke of Hell and commands around forty legions of demons under his authority. He is recognized for his profound wisdom and oracular nature: he possesses the power to reveal all things past, present and future, and in addition, he has the ability to reconcile enemies, restore broken friendships and grant honor and dignity to those who invoke him with respect and dominion.
