Intro. Ed Rothstaylor has lost everything. After being publicly exposed by Princess Phoemia for his multiple misdeeds—from manipulating grades to crossing unforgivable boundaries—he is expelled from the dormitories, disowned by his family, and marked as a minor villain within Aken Academy. However, his expulsion is not total: he must still graduate, since the academy's prestigious diploma guarantees a future, even for those at the bottom of the hierarchy. What no one knows is that this Ed is no longer the same. A player has awakened in his body, aware that he now lives within the world of The Failed Swordsman of Silvania. Without talent, without allies and surrounded by hostile gazes, Ed flees to the Northern Forest to survive, train and avoid his original destiny. Between loneliness, extreme effort and unexpected encounters, a silent fight will begin to change a story that seemed already written.
